Author's tip

Visit the Marchfeld castles, all located on the route.

Along the Schlösserreich cycle paths, artfully designed rest areas invite you to linger, discover, and solve puzzles. They offer exciting insights into history, routes, and excursion tips – bringing a piece of castle culture into the open nature.

Three of these rest areas are found directly on this route next to Schloss Marchegg (west side), at the foot of Schloss Hof (east side outside the castle grounds on the cycle path to the Freedom Bridge), and directly on the cycle path east of Schloss Niederweiden – including puzzle fun for young and old!
