Bioweingut Staringer

The Staringer organic winery, a family-run organic winery, is located in Stillfried near the Slovakian border. It is known for producing excellent wines on Weinviertel loess soils, including outstanding Grüne Veltliners, Welschrieslings and Rieslings. The winery has been certified organic since 2008 and undergoes an inspection twice a year. However, the winery not only stands for organic certification, but also for living sustainability, which is practiced both operationally and privately. Family, satisfaction and trust are deeply rooted in the philosophy of the winery and define it in every respect. The quality of the wines begins with the cultivation of the vineyards. Healthy grapes and appropriate yield regulation are decisive for the quality and excellence of the wines. Sustainable cultivation, for example by sowing greening mixtures, not only promotes soil health and beneficial insects, but also contributes to soil protection.
