Schönfeld-Lassee train station

Schönfeld-Lassee station is located between the two market towns of Schönfeld im Marchfeld and Lassee in the Lower Austrian district of Gänserndorf. In addition to the heated waiting room, there are also publicly accessible sanitary facilities in the large reception building. Almost 120 parking spaces for cars and mopeds allow train passengers to change trains easily. The on-site Bike & Ride Station offers space for more than 10 bicycles.

The Schönfeld-Lassee stop is on the route of the Marchegg Ostbahn.

• Trains to the main station to Vienna and Marchegg, as well as further to Bratislava are served here.
• There is a bus stop directly in front of the station.

Europark Lassee

After a pleasant half-hour walk from Schönfeld-Lassee station, you reach Europark Lassee in the municipality of the same name. On the approximately 1 hectare large park landscape, visitors encounter water games and playgrounds, as well as the numerous glass paintings, which were the result of a competition: Pupils depicted the homeland with the pictures and thus set the local centre in a very special way.

There are also numerous cycle paths leading through the vivid expanses of the region, which also connect a new section to Eurovelo No. 9. Information on the family-friendly tours can be found by nature lovers at the municipal office.
