The large reception building at Gänserndorf station is located in the district of the same name in the east of Lower Austria. Modern canopies on the platforms, digital train destination displays and barrier-free access throughout offer rail travelers a high level of comfort. The arrival platforms can be reached safely via underpasses, and the ticket machines located there round off the railroad's self-service offering.
The connected Park & Ride facility, which offers ample space for more than 860 cars and mopeds, is another added convenience for rail passengers. 180 bicycles can be stored in the Bike & Ride station.
Since 2023 there has been a mini-market in the station building, the local supplier is open Mon-Fri from 6am-6pm. Saturdays partly from 6-12 am.
Route information
The Gänserndorf stop is located on the Nordbahn line and also connects trains along the Gänserndorf-Marchegg line - a branch line of the Nordbahn. Passenger services on the Weinviertel Landesbahn and Stammersdorfer Lokalbahn rail networks, which are also connected, were discontinued at the end of 2019.

- Connecting buses to Wolkersdorf and Mistelbach an der Zaya can be reached directly in front of Gänserndorf station.
