Description

Weikendorf-Dörfles station is located along the Nordbahn line in the Lower Austrian district of Gänserndorf. Covered waiting booths and a ticket machine for purchasing tickets have been installed on the two platforms at the edge of the station. Timetable notices and loudspeaker announcements keep passengers informed about ongoing operations.

Space has been created for 20 vehicles in the Park & Ride facility, and over 30 bicycles can be parked in the Bike & Ride station directly on site.

Route connection

The Weikendorf-Dörfles stop is on the Kaiser Ferdinand Nordbahn line.

  • Regional trains to Bernhardsthal and Wr. Neustadt stop here.
  • Trains via Vienna Floridsdorf to Payerbach-Reichenau are served.
  • The market town of Weikendorf is also home to Weikendorf railroad station, which is connected to the Gänserndorf - Marchegg line.

Along the March

Due to its location and proximity to the River March, the region along the northern railway line is also ideal for exploring by bike. It takes less than 30 minutes to cycle from Weikendorf-Dörfles train station to the March, where you can either explore the area on one of the numerous cycle tours or simply cycle along and enjoy the idyllic natural landscapes.
