Weingut Reckendorfer

At the Reckendorfer winery, skill becomes art and enjoyment is never far away. The philosophy of the winery follows the theme of 'music on the palate', which is reflected in the labels with soundtracks. The musical family has expressed its love of music through the creative label design with the illustrated Kaiser Waltz by Johann Strauss Sohn. The wines that are composed here are diverse and range from the Weinviertel DAC to the Maestoso sparkling wine, a multi-layered Blanc de Blancs that has been allowed to mature on the fine lees for over 20 months. Special favorites are the 'Spargelphilharmonie' Pino Blanc and the 'Papagena' Muskateller, the winery's first independent compositions. The owner graduated from the Federal College for Viticulture and Fruit Growing in Klosterneuburg and gained valuable experience in national and international internships before taking over his parents' business at the age of 20. A visit to the Reckendorfer winery is an experience for all the senses that should not be missed.
