Dampfmaschinen-Museum Breitstetten
Museum
Description
For almost 20 years now, Günter Prazda has been tracking down industrial and agricultural steam engines from the early days of the industrial age throughout Europe, lovingly restoring them to working order and assembling them into a unique collection at the former Breitstetten railroad station. The steam engine museum in Breitenstetten is now home to the largest collection of steam engines in the German-speaking world and fascinates young and old alike with its numerous rarities. The museum also includes the Zum Ölkandl restaurant, which serves delicious home cooking.
