Marchfeld's planes are located between two capital cities - Vienna and Bratislava - and represent one of the most fertile growing areas in Austria. It is not without reason that Marchfeld is often described as 'Austria's grain treasury'.

The fertile soil properties and Pannonian climate of Marchfeld are just made for growing high-quality  grains and vegetables. For instance, a prime example and figurehead of the region is the famous Marchfeld asparagus. Yet fruity strawberries, a wide range of vegetables and grains in all their facets grow and thrive here.
