Glinzendorf

An idyllic community near Vienna

The small village has a variety of attractive offers:

The Landgasthaus Prosser, located in the village center, offers first-class and regional cuisine. For all organic fans, the Adamah organic farm run by the Zoubek family is open from Monday to Saturday. In addition to a variety of organic products, vegetables can be purchased fresh from the farmer. There is also a weekly farm-gate sale of excellent beef products from the Schauer family on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Romanesque church in the middle of the village is dedicated to St. Catherine of Siena. At the local cemetery, which was laid out around the church, there is a memorial commemorating the Marchfeld battles around 1809.

The municipality of Glinzendorf also has a large public playground, a well-maintained soccer pitch, a toboggan run and the Marchfeld cycle path across the region and along the idyllic Rußbach stream. By train - the ÖBB rail network is currently being expanded - you can get to Vienna and back every hour. By car, Glinzendorf is approx. 8 km from the Vienna city limits.

Peace and tranquillity - possible in Glinzendorf as there is no through traffic.
