After about 10 km on the KTM cycle path, you pass the small romantic castle Niederweiden. The journey continues to Engelhartstetten where the southern loop meets. You cycle westwards through Loimersdorf and Kopfstetten and then reach Schloss Eckartsau with its beautiful garden grounds. From there, you continue south until you meet the Danube Cycle Path (EV6). Three of these rest areas are found directly on this route next to Schloss Marchegg (west side), at the foot of Schloss Hof (east side outside the castle grounds on the cycle path to the Freedom Bridge), and directly on the cycle path east of Schloss Niederweiden – including puzzle fun for young and old!
