The municipality of Mannsdorf an der Donau in the district of Gänserndorf is located in the southern Marchfeld - directly on the northern bank of the Danube and just 11 kilometers from the Vienna city limits. Worth seeing for everyone: The pretty tower of the Catholic branch church of St. Francis Xavier rises up in the north-east of Mannsdorf. The original baroque building from 1769 was revitalized and extended in the 1950s.

Worth knowing for sports fans and soccer fans in particular: FC Marchfeld Mannsdorf, founded in 1947, has been playing in the Regionalliga Ost since the 2016/17 season - and is now part of a joint team with SC Groß Enzersdorf.
